Comics: Philosophy & Practice, is hosted by the Richard and Mary L. Gray Center for Arts and Inquiry at the University of Chicago, a newly created forum for experimental and interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of scholarship and artistic practice.

Its signature initiative, the Mellon Residential Fellowships in Arts Practice and Scholarship, brings distinguished visitors to campus for intensive collaborations with University faculty.
